If you love Bethesda Terrace, this program is for you! Join the Olmsted Network on March 19 at 5 pm ET for a presentation by distinguished professor Frank Kowsky.

Kowsky will introduce us to Jacob Wrey Mould, the talented designer and architect who worked closely with Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux on Central Park and other landscapes. Mould is responsible for iconic places like Belvedere Castle, the original Metropolitan Museum of Art, the American Museum of Natural History, and the Morningside Park promenade.

Kowsky’s new book— Hell on Color, Sweet on Song– explores Mould’s extraordinary architectural and musical talents. The book was recently published by Fordham University Press and is available for purchase here.
