Lake Wailes Park will fill with friends and laughter on April 30, 2022 when Lake Wales Heritage sponsors our first-ever Olmsted Day in the Park, a tribute to the great man and his illustrious son on the 200th anniversary of his birth.
This special event will offer a salute to the wonderful patrimony held by our community thanks to the work of Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., Edward Bok, August Heckscher, Milton Medary, and other historic figures.
We will celebrate with games, races, awards, music, food, and family fun.
